Apple invited the press back to another product launch on October 23rd.
There’s been a lot of rumors going around about the iPad mini, and this might be it!
I can’t really think of anything else that they might have to bring to the table, unless it’s there 13¨ MacBook Pro who’s joining the Retina family but I don’t think they’d do an event like this for that tiny purpose.
Like always, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🙂
As you might have seen in my previews video to my love that I’ve gotten myself a new hobby!
With good help from tutorials online and my mother (by phone) I’ve learned how to knit 🙂
I started out with something as simple as a cap.
It was pretty easy and fun to make. But the scary part is that it got me hooked! I’ve always been a crafts geek and I love having (and giving away) things that are made with love!
So now I’ve gone over to knitting socks 🙂
My son asked me if I could knit some socks for him as well when I’m done with my own flashy blue ones! So I guess I’ll have to make another pair when I’m done with these 😛
I’m hoping to learn more techniques so that I can make something more advanced soon. Maybe a cute sweater 🙂

Added knitting to the list of geekiness – CHECK!
This Friday I’m going to see my boyfriend again after he went of on vacation!
It’s only been a week, but it feels like forever! I’m having trouble sleeping and I’m trying to keep myself occupied.
My son has been sick so I’ve spent the last 3 days at home instead of at work.
So today I couldn’t hold it in (who am I kidding? I tell him several times a day 😛 haha) so I made this little video to share some love!

One of my great interests is literature. I read a lot of books and I’m a writer myself.
One day I wish to see my name on the bookshelves, in the hands of people on the subway and in bookstores.
The road there is long and difficult and for some time I’ve really felt as if I’ve been hitting my head against the wall.
Writer’s block you say? Yeah, something like that.
The problem for me isn’t how to start to write, but it’s to keep my head focused on one writing project at a time.
So this time I’ve gone all in. I’ve signed up for a writers course.
I’ll get my starting package in the mail the following week and I’ll be having a personal supervisor that will give me feedback on the texts I send in to them.
This could be the one thing that I need to really get this going 🙂
I can’t wait to start!
Tomorrow my son Leander turns five. FIVE! I can’t believe how big he’s gotten! Time flies by so fast. Next time we’re celebrating his birthday he’ll be going to school.
It feels like yesterday that I got to see him for the very first time. Wondering what kind of person he would become. If he would have anything of me in him or be more like his father.
How his health would be. His voice. His whole personality!
Now he’s grown up to a really smart and funny boy. He’s an inspiration to me! Being a mother is so different than what I could ever imagine. It has taught me so much about myself. It has scared me and it has given me the greatest happiness that I’ve ever known. I’m so proud of him and I can’t wait to see what is in store for him.
I’ll make sure that he knows that he can always come to me. I will always listen and give as good advice as I can.
And he’ll know that he’s forever loved! Loved for the unique and amazing person he is!

We all need something to motivate us and these quotes are one of the things that really gets me going when I need a little extra push.
I guess my idea of having this site without it becoming personal wasn’t really working out as well as I planed. I’ve had very personal blogs in the past and I didn’t want to take it there this time around, but it looks like having a completely non personal site isn’t really my kind of thing.
So here I go trying to find something somewhere in the middle.
Cause taking you on my journey on the geek side of life means that I have to let you walk beside me a little more than I first intended.
That, plus a whole lot of stress has kept me a little silent lately, but I’m back now and I’m coming back strong.
I hope you’ll stick around and see what might happen. This is a journey. This is life. And I would like to share some parts of my time here on this earth.
