You should never let anyone define who you are! That’s your job!
Take advice, stop and smell the flowers, listen, learn, laugh and love! There’s no secret that if a person is told enough times that they are stupid then they will eventually start to believe it. We are so obsessed with everyone elses opinions that we sometimes forget to take a step back and listen to our own mind and heart.
I know that’s one of my own flaws for sure.
But I’ve decided that I’m not going to do that to myself anymore. So what if it takes me a little longer to achieve my dreams than was expected by me, so what if I ain’t rich and so what if I don’t live up to others expectations. Because the truth is that those things doesn’t even matter.
There’s no one else than you, living in your skin. So make sure you’re happy in it! Make sure you chase your dreams and do what feels right for you!
If you’re unhappy with your life, then change it!
I started doing that today. I won’t go into details about how and what just yet,but I’m getting to it in another post soon:)
But my point is that you need to fill your life with what makes you smile, and exclude the things that drain you.
This is the only life that we get so make the most of it!
